Nolte State Park

Difficulty: Easy
1.4 miles around the lake

This hike is perfect if you have small children. It is only 1.4 flat miles around Nolte Lake, so it is short and easy. There are also a lot of little trails throughout, leading down to the lake for youngsters to explore.

Directions: From WA-169, Maple Valley Black Diamond Rd, travel south to Four Corners. Turn left onto Kent-Kangley Rd. Follow Kent-Kangley through Ravensdale and turn right onto Retreat-Kanaskat Rd. SE. Travel several miles until you come to Cumberland Kanaskat RD. SE and turn right. Follow this road for a few miles and drive through the small town of Cumberland. After driving through Cumberland Nolte will be about 1.5 miles down the road on the right hand side.
